Status

The Business State Protocol is under active development. Version 0.1 of the specification, its JSON Schemas, a reference implementation, adapters for real commerce and ERP systems, and a conformance suite exist and are being validated against live systems.

Publication of the specification and the reference implementation is scheduled to follow the completion of the project’s licensing and intellectual-property review. The specification will be released under an open specification license with explicit patent terms; reference tooling under the Apache License 2.0.
